NexLearn Selected for Business Mission to Japan
Wichita, Kans., February 9, 2007 – NexLearn, LLC, a leading developer of e-Learning and simulation-based training for academic and business education, announced today that it has been selected to participate in an exploratory business partnering mission to Japan between February 19-23. The trip, facilitated by the Kansas Department of Commerce and funded by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), will offer NexLearn representatives the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Japanese business leaders in Chiba Prefecture and Tokyo.
“We are very excited to be able to take part in such an incredible opportunity,” said Marty Boyzuck, NexLearn vice president of business development. “This trip will help us build exposure for our unique development capabilities. It will also serve as the first step to promote our best-in-class SimWriter simulation authoring tool to a worldwide audience and expand our client focus from Fortune 500 to Global 1000 companies.”
JETRO is a nonprofit, Japanese government-supported organization that promotes trade and economic relationships between Japan and other nations. Greg Call of the Kansas Department of Commerce recommended NexLearn for the business mission. “NexLearn exemplifies the international business opportunities that exist for Kansas companies that jump into the global trade pool,” said Call. “It would serve our economy well if more companies also explored those waters, and we’re here to help when they want to make that move.”
The business matching program allows U.S. companies the opportunity to build their networks in Japan through pre-arranged meetings, demonstrations and seminars. The Kansas Department of Commerce, which provides assistance to Kansas companies wishing to begin or expand their international marketing efforts, worked closely with NexLearn to locate the right opportunity to introduce the company to a global audience.
According to Boyzuck, NexLearn plans to take full advantage of the chance to discuss potential partnerships with interested Japanese business leaders. “Previous companies that have participated in JETRO business missions have experienced great success. The potential for developing strong, ongoing relationships looks extremely positive.”
